What is Mirandus? Play to Earn With Mirandus

What is Mirandus game?

Mirandus is a fantasy world powered by blockchain, where players can truly be creative.

In Mirandus, you can create your own world and shape it the way your mind tells you to.
Using blockchain, you’ll be able to create all kinds of new items, like characters with customized appearances, or worlds built from scratch instead of taking someone else’s existing one – which means there’ll be no limits to our creativity!

Imagine a world where you are the only one who knows what’s going on. You can be whatever your imagination desires, and there is no limit to how much creativity lies within each player because of blockchain technology!

There’s no map, no quest givers in Mirandus. There are three ways to play this game: you can go into the wild alone and face the monsters of the deep woods and dungeons, join one of the monarchies and serve as a knight in their court, or set up shop in one of five great citadels. In Mirandus, players become avatars, and if they want, they can buy an avatar that has powers and abilities beyond normal avatars.

Land deeds, which players can use to claim parts of the wilderness and build holdfasts ranging from small farms to giant cities, are one of the game’s central mechanics.Mirandus offers great risks – but there are great rewards, too, since it’s full of Materium, an arcane substance that can be channeled to cast spells, create the impossible, and even raise a slain hero from the dead.

Is Mirandus free?

Mirandus is a massively multiplayer online role playing game that will be free-to-play, so anybody can play it even if they don’t own property in the game. You can adventure without an outpost or a homestead, but owning real estate adds another layer of economics. Gala Games revealed this in a development update.

How does play-to-earn work within Mirandus?

Materia, an in-game currency, can be earned by playing Mirandus. You have to hold an NFT character to get the new token. The more characters you own, the more Materium you earn, but it’s not known whether a rarer exemplar will yield more Materium.

Mirandus uses GALA to buy and sell NFTs, but Materium is just in-game currency. When you earn NFTs and tokens in the game, you can sell them for Gala. Furthermore, you can speculate on NFT assets by buying them at a low price and then selling them for a profit.

How do you play Mirandus?

Play as a dungeon-crawler looting dungeons or a famous merchant with shops in every citadel in Mirandus, a fantasy RPG set in a massive world ruled by 5 player-monarchs.

Because there are no quest-givers or maps in Mirandus, you’re free to roam.

Get into the wilderness to battle monsters in the deep woods or dungeons, or join a monarch’s army to rise through the ranks.

Homesteads, farms, and cities can be built in the wilderness. Players can gather resources or gather at these spots, incentivizing them to travel farther away from the city’s walls in search of Materium.

Although claiming a deed in the wilderness can be risky, the rewards can be great if you’re willing to claim a deed far from the city.

Materium can be found in the wilderness. With it, you can cast spells, craft end-game equipment, or even raise fallen heroes from the dead.

You’re gonna make a lot of decisions, so your economic, governance, and political choices will shape everyone’s experience. It’s especially true for people who own deeds, buildings, or exemplars, since they have such a large degree of control over how resources will be traded and distributed.

Exemplars

Exemplars are playable characters that are only available to players of their faction. Elf, halfling, orc, dwarf and human characters all have unique traits depending on rarity and strength.

Depending on an exemplar’s rarity, they might have special abilities like enhanced fighting techniques, less energy consumption while travelling, or better resource gathering.

Deeds

Players who own deeds can decide what is built and how it will benefit them and the community. You can buy things like ranches, outposts, towns, and citadels, which vary in size, location, and rarity.

The deeds act as templates that can be “stamped” on terrain in Mirandus to make it your personal development area, so you get a cut of the goods and services traded there.

To keep property and residents safe, better deeds mean better walls. While a farm hamlet may only have a wooden fence, a citadel will have large walls to repel monsters of all kinds.

Buildings

Buildings are more important than property, though, since adventurers need to travel to the land before they can explore or do business.

A building can only go on your property if its land size matches yours. Land owners can rent their land out to other players for a fee or a share of the profits.

There are armorers, jewelers, breweries, and temples of varying rarity and size that can be placed in citadels and towns depending on where you have property or where you can lease it from someone with title.

Ships

You may have to get a sturdy sea vessel to reach some of Mirandus’ wonders on foot. When you’re buying a ship for the coast or open water, keep that in mind. Some ships are faster than others and can carry more crew or cargo.

Docks

To unload cargo or anchor ships when not in use, you need a dock, just like you need a deed to build a house.

Docks of greater size and rarity can accommodate small ships as well as larger shipping vessels like the cog, caravel, and carrack.

Rarity

All Mirandus NFTs come with a rarity indicating their size, strength, or abilities. A traveling adventurer may want a rare exemplar and uncommon deed, whereas a local merchant may want a rare deed but not worry as much about its rarity. The rarity levels are as follows:

  • Uncommon (gray)
  • Uncommon (green)
  • Rare (blue)
  • Epic (purple)
  • Legendary (orange)
  • Ancient (black)
